Neoedge Cares
For Neoedge, CSR is an effort to realize part of her vision of being a significant contributor to the society and community.
We visited the Berkat Bangsa Orphanage in Batam in March 2010. The orphanage houses 33 orphans from different backgrounds living in a donated house.
Neoedge staff was on hand to conduct activities to stimulate the children’s creativity, intellect and teamwork in an effort to boost their confidence and self-esteem. Entertaining performances are displayed by us and we provided as much assistance as we can to the children. We had a great time building the tallest straw tower, learning basic English, learning arithmetic with coins, singing and more. Though these activities may seem simple to some, it conveyed extreme joy to these little kids. For sure, there were potential leaders amongst them!
The children were ecstatic to see us and were on their best behaviour. They participated actively in the events designed for them and were savouring the treats that we brought with us. Our time with them is very fruitful and we promised them we will be back for them next year.
